How the Service Map works

The left column is Rafiki's service area: every site the company looks after, and the links between them. Each site teaches the topology that really belongs there. The client homes are open now; pick them to see their tickets. The other sites open with their levels, and that's when you'll move between sites over the WAN, the VPNs and the providers.

  1. Pick a site, then a ticket at it.
  2. Gather the evidence, diagnose, fix it at the source, prove it works.

Help

Working a ticket: read the ticket, gather evidence from the devices, pick what's really wrong, fix it at the source, then prove it works. Open a device from the network map, the floor plan (Physical) or the buttons above the terminal.

How help works: wrong picks 1 and 2, nothing; pick 3, Mason says where to look; pick 4, the principle that decides it; pick 5 and after, he narrows it to two, each option he strikes with its reason. He never names the answer. In the fix stage, "Ask Mason about the fix" climbs the same way.
